CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility with Code February 2026

Eligibility criteria include:

  1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing for a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE regulations.
  3. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  4. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code February 2026

Eligibility criteria include:

  1. Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), as per NCTE regulations.
  4. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  5. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).
  7. Candidates with a recognized B.Ed. Programme are eligible for TET/CTET. Those pursuing teacher education courses recognized by NCTE or RCI are also eligible.
  8. Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
